We have been engaging a small group of elderly patients at Cloverdale Court in a monthly art group. Last month they made some gorgeous felt flowers, this month they had a go at porcelain painting using Pebeo Porcelain paints. It is interesting how fearful some can be but with a little encouragement they manage to make a pretty plate, others drift between knowing they need to paint on the cup and just moving their paint around on the palette. It was gentle and therapeutic, which suited them just fine!
