FREE CREATIVE FUN FOR ALL AGES at Sutton Central Library, join us to make a handcrafted beach! Make a plastic bottle ocean, fish, a deep-sea diver photoboard, bunting, celbratory dance on the beach. Try out the new Sutton Rock.
On 6 Thursdays: 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th June and 5th, 12th July. We will have an opening party on the 12th with Biodanza and The Beach Boys. The beach will be installed for several weeks after completion. Join Team Imagineers professional artists to make Sutton by Sea. We'll use recycled materials and sit, chat, have fun creating a beach. This usable art installation will have a photoboard to take snaps of yourself, green bottle palm trees, real sand, and deck chairs, for people to relax in. Interested? Just turn up on the dates above at 3.30pm and ask library staff to show you to where we are.
