Printing in Clay
We had another tentative start with our session at the Acute Stroke Unit in St Helier...this week the Men's Tennis Finals were on top of the menu. However, we found some wonderful participants who enthused beyond measure, enthralled by the beautiful marks flowers make in clay. The activity also supported fine motor skills and engaged the brain in news ways for most participants...all good stuff when rehabilitation is key to recovery.
We will be cutting these into varying sized circles, bisque firing and then colouring with Mason Stain washes and firing again at a higher temperature to give the final work that will be installed in the ward.
